Description
The Horn O’ Plenty, modelled after 18th century ships of the line maintains a very noticeable silhouette in the sky. It isn’t often one sees an airship modelled after a naval vessel let alone one modeled after one that would look more fitting in wood instead of riveted steel and aluminum.
Towering far above the vast verdant and farm covered decks, the enclosed Crows’ Nest serves as the lookout point for the Horn O’ Plenty. At the altitude the ship normally cruises, the Nest is almost always a good ten degrees cooler and always a great deal more windblown. It offers a wonderful view of both the decks below as well as the positions of the other two ships in the fleet.
While the Crows’ Nest isn’t equipped with radio equipment like the Sleipnir lookout posts, it does have an intercom system that allows it to notify the communications team aboard the Horn to then relay the message to the other ships.
